JERREL REYNOLDS
Hutto is growing quickly, and we need to make sure we get it right!
I am committed to a thriving, safe, and united community that supports Police, Fire, small businesses, and all residents. I believe in transparency, respectful dialogue, and accountable leadership that listens and puts the community first.
MEET THE REYNOLDS FAMILY
My wife Laura, our two amazing daughters, and I have proudly called Hutto home for over five years. Professionally, I’ve spent more than a decade in new home construction and currently serve as Director of Sales for Sitterle Homes, a Texas-based builder with over 60 years of experience across Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful growth, strong leadership, and responsible development shape thriving communities.
Now, I’m taking a big step by running for Hutto City Council, Place 1. This is my first campaign. I’m running a grassroots campaign focused on listening to residents, earning trust, and bringing practical leadership to Hutto’s future. If you’ve walked this path before, I welcome your advice and support. We believe in being good stewards of our community. I would be honored to earn your trust, support, and vote as we work toward a strong future for Hutto.
Why AM I RUNNING?
What is your number one priority?
Responsible growth. Hutto is expanding quickly, and we must ensure infrastructure, water supply, public safety, and roads keep pace. Growth should strengthen our community and protect quality of life, not strain it.
Responsible growth is the foundation of my platform, supported by strong infrastructure planning, protecting residents and taxpayers, and transparent leadership.
What sets you apart from the other candidates?
Having worked in the new construction industry for over 10 years, I bring hands on experience in housing development and long term planning. I understand how growth decisions affect roads, water, infrastructure, and taxpayers before they show up in everyday life. I am not running on emotion or ideology. I am running on practical experience, accountability, and responsible leadership
What is your philosophy on tax rates vs. city growth?
Homeowners deserve protection from unnecessary tax increases. Each year I will carefully review the city’s financial position and support disciplined budgeting. If responsible planning allows for a no new revenue rate, I would support it. My priority is making sure residents are not carrying the burden alone, while also ensuring they are not left unprotected as our city grows and infrastructure demands increase.
